What was your career path before joining KOBEX ?
After graduating from a technical college, I joined an electronics manufacturer and worked in production technology. After that, I changed jobs because I wanted to work in education, which I had become interested in while looking for a job. However, when I actually started working in education, I felt that the lifestyle and salary did not match my own. After that I was dispatched to a major heavy industry manufacturer and worked in production technology, designing jigs, etc.
Why did you apply to and join KOBEX ?
With the SDGs being called for, I was very attracted to the fact that solvent distillation and recovery equipment is an industry that matches the times.
Please tell us about your current work content ?
I am mainly in charge of the mechanical design of the equipment. I may also be in charge of electrical specification instructions and checks, PLC instructions, debugging, etc.
What skills did you want to develop when you joined KOBEX ?
When I first joined the company, I wanted to improve my design skills. Now, in addition to that, I also want to improve my management skills and English skills.
What do you enjoy about working at KOBEX ?
Since I often deal with customers, I feel happiest when I hear from them that their equipment is running smoothly after installation.
Is there a moment in your work that you feel is typical of KOBEX ?
They have a particularly strong commitment to delivery dates, and I think it's typical of KOBEX to see them working together in solidarity to meet the delivery dates requested by customers.
What kind of people is KOBEX suitable for ?
Everyone is working toward a common vision, and we are all able to caution each other when we see actions or ideas that diverge from that vision.
Do you have a motto ?
At first glance, it may seem like a negative thing, but "efforts are not always rewarded". I heard this phrase when I was a student and it has stuck with me to this day. It means that no matter how hard you try, if the direction is wrong, you will not get the results you want within a certain period of time.
Do you have any hobbies ? How do you spend your days off ?
I have two small children so I can't pursue my hobbies regularly, but I try to make up for it by spending time with my family.
