What was your career path before joining KOBEX ?
After graduating from university, I worked for a major construction machinery manufacturer for about nine years, in charge of the design and development of structural equipment for construction machinery. Specifically, I was in charge of structural design, material research, production technology development with overseas production bases, and new model development and current machine improvement work in collaboration with overseas design departments.
Why did you apply to and join KOBEX ?
In my previous job, I was involved in partial design work for construction machinery products, and felt it was difficult to gain the necessary experience as a designer, such as understanding the overall concept of the equipment and user needs. In addition, it took a lot of time to coordinate with related departments, and there was little opportunity to hone my skills and design experience, so I was looking for an industry where I could be involved in the production of the entire equipment.
In this environment, I was interested in the fact that despite being an equipment manufacturer, KOBEX had a small team and allowed me to be involved in a series of tasks from scratch, including shipping, starting up operations at the customer's site, and providing follow-up support, and that the company deals with environmental recycling equipment, which is in high demand among users, so I decided to join the company.
Furthermore, the work style emphasizes results rather than hours, and I was attracted by the fact that the company allows for work systems that are tailored to individual circumstances, which was also a deciding factor for me to join the company.
What skills did you want to develop when you joined KOBEX ?
I joined the company because I wanted to be able to prepare all the mechanical drawings as a designer and manage everything from assembly to operation and delivery. Now I work while being conscious of gaining knowledge about electrical control and the development of new models to meet user needs.
What do you enjoy most about working at KOBEX ?
I can see how the equipment I designed contributes to reducing costs and human resources for users. Organic solvents are used in a wide variety of industries, so there are a wide range of fields in which the equipment can contribute. Therefore, by responding to the unique user needs according to each industry, I am able to accumulate knowledge as an equipment designer, which is one of the joys and pleasures of my job.
What do you enjoy most about working at KOBEX ?
User needs for our products remain high, and the required specifications are also becoming more stringent, so there are many cases where only KOBEX can handle them. We believe it is important to continue to provide equipment that meets those user needs, while at the same time improving the performance and stability of existing models to improve the reliability of the equipment.
